What is healing through Art Expression?

Please be advised that Self-healing classes are NOT Licensed Therapy. These classes are intended to help victims of trauma to identify their emotions and behaviors and express themselves in a healthy and productive way (art). As stated in the American Journal of Public health “art-based interventions are effective in reducing adverse physiological and psychological outcomes”. The primary response to trauma is a negative impact on ones self-worth. Create Healings lessons are formatted for self-expression with the goal to heal emotional injuries, increase understanding of oneself and others, develop a capacity for self-reflection, reduce symptoms, and alter behaviors and thinking patterns.
