Gift Ideas That Inspire Creativity

December can be a hard month to find the right gift ideas. Between all the stress of the holidays it is easy to fall out of touch with our ability to give meaningful and exciting gifts. If you are anything like me you may feel it is hard not to get into a rush and start feeling like any gift will do. Most gift ideas revolve around technology and devices. I am trying to gather ideas that take us out from behind our screens and help provide personal interaction.
I have created a guide that may help with gift giving this season. I have tried to include gift ideas that will inspire creativity as well as affordable prices to help reduce some financial stress this holiday season.

1.)  Bees Wax Candle Making Kit for kids

This eco crafting kit is great for children as young as Kindergarteners. The kit will help your kids to develop dexterity, cultivate concentration and patience by letting them make handmade crafts.

The kit includes all you need for exciting crafting, organic beeswax sheets, cutters, colorful wax pencils. Use it for modeling, rolling candles, painting, cutting, and sculpting masterpieces with your little artists. This is also created by a small business who cares about kids and understands what is important in their growth and development.

2.) BLOOM Soy candle making kit

The BLOOM kit is directed to adults although it is very similar to the above childrens kit, as a bonus this kit does have a lot more options for creating. Buy this as a gift for someone or use it to create multiple handmade gifts for others. Click HERE for more information and to purchase.

3.) Artsy Fartsy Board Game

Award-winning family-friendly party game with plenty of fresh (and unfresh) categories and content that will have you drawing and guessing things that are fun to draw and even funnier to guess.

Includes 234 cards, die, timer, drawing pad, pencils, and complete game rules – everything you need to take it on camping trips, vacations, or sleepovers (drawing skills not included, nor required)

4.) My Story Recordable Storybook for Children | Write, Illustrate and Record a Story for Your Loved One

My Story is possibly one of the neatest gift ideas I have found. you write and illustrate your own story book. A Gift Idea like this could be great for you to create and give as a gift, or give as a gift to create with your child. There are so many options with such a open concept gift.

5.) Goblies throwable Paint balls

We have used Goblies in class before. These paint balls were a blast for my students. We used them to make abstract art. There are so many different ways you can use them, they are affordable, and the kids just can’t get enough. I have found Goblies available in store at Michaels as well as on Amazon

6.) EVAZAR London Sketching and Drawing art Set

A fellow Artist just got one of these sets and she absolutely loves it. Moreover, I could not neglect to put this on the list as she has even been encouraging me to get one. Once my current pencils are use, I will also be getting one of these sets!

7.)MEEDEN [PRIME ARTIST SERIES] Professional Artist Acrylic Painting Set

I highly recommend this gift for artists at all levels. I use this set and love it. The easel is what got me hooked. This easel can change into a carrying back with storage for your supplies. It also can stand and is adjustable by all 3 legs. You can even fold the legs down and have a table top easel. This is the most adjustable Easel I have ever owned!

You can find it HERE!

8.)Make Your Own Clay Handprint Bowls

Release the crafty side of your child!. This is great for ages 6-12. It is made of polymer clay so keep in mind that means it will have to bake. If this is a gift, parental guidance is needed. I have not met a child who did not enjoy making these

9.)Watercolor Brush Pens

Precision brush pens are perfect for anyone new to or experienced in water color painting. You just load the brush with water and begin creating. There are other sellers and brands for these, but not all of them come with the color mixtures already in them.

10.)  Audible Gift Membership

Audible is perfect for the readers, or those who just want to listen to eBooks being read out loud. You do not have to have a ereader for this app. You can use a laptop, tablet, or cell phone as well.

Every Premium Plus gift membership includes:

 Studio Gifts!

Conclusion

There are so many more ideas that could be recommended, but I feel this is a good starting point. If there are any questions for a specific personality feel free to email or comment and I will be happy to make recommendations. Most of my recommendations will be on Amazon as I am An Amazon Associate and earn from qualifying purchases, but more so because I do the majority of my own shopping on Amazon.
