Who we are

Create Healing is a locally owned Art Studio in Amarillo, TX.

Create Healing’s mission is to provide healing services to families with trauma through art expression, as well as providing the community with family friendly entertainment options.

How we are different

While our classes can be for entertainment purposes, we provide a strengthening experience for families and individuals who have been exposed to trauma. Our lessons help adults and children express themselves in a productive way. We focus on strengthening self confidence and building knowledge on the impact of our emotions and behaviors.

*Please be advised that Self-healing classes are NOT Licensed Therapy. These classes are intended to help victims of trauma to identify their emotions and behaviors and express themselves in a healthy and productive way (art). As stated in the American Journal of Public health “art-based interventions are effective in reducing adverse physiological and psychological outcomes”. The primary response to trauma is a negative impact on ones self-worth. Create Healings lessons are formatted for self-expression with the goal to heal emotional injuries, increase understanding of oneself and others, develop a capacity for self-reflection, reduce symptoms, and alter behaviors and thinking patterns.
